Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT (MRI) certification and at least 2 years of inpatient MRI experience.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a busy MRI department
- Shifts are 10-hour evenings (12:00 PM to 10:30 PM) on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
- Role focuses on providing MRI imaging services for inpatient studies
- No on-call requirements
- Uses Cerner EMR system and experience with it is required
- Candidates must be able to manage a steady workflow and assist with a variety of inpatient MRI studies
- Previous permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break before being eligible
- Dress code or scrub requirements will be provided upon assignment
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience
- Current ARRT (MRI) certification required
- Valid BLS certification required
- Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Cerner EMR required
- No local candidates within a 50-mile radius
- License required if applicable
