Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT-MRI certification and strong inpatient MRI skills.
Responsibilities
- Work in a busy MRI department providing inpatient MRI studies
- 12-hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday, 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
- 13-week contract assignment
- No on-call required
- Uses Cerner EMR system
- Must be able to provide assistance with a variety of inpatient MRI procedures
- RTO (time off) must be requested at the time of application
- Scrubs or professional attire required per facility guidelines
- Returning permanent staff must observe a 2-year break before accepting a travel position
- First-time travelers will be considered
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist
- Current ARRT-MRI certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience with Cerner EMR required or strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
- License required if applicable
- Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
