Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a current CA RN license and strong neuro patient care skills.
Responsibilities
- Work in the ICU unit of a hospital setting
- Frequent care of neuro patient population
- Day shifts with a schedule of 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:30
- Every other weekend required and additional weekends as unit need arises
- On-call coverage as needed
- Floating may be required to other units within scope of practice or to affiliated campuses with shuttle provided
- Notice for floating typically provided 1.5 hours prior to shift
- RN responsible for critical care of diverse neuro ICU caseload
- Flexibility with floating to various units and campuses is essential
- Only one holiday off will be approved for requested time off
- Candidate must be available to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signing
- Returning travelers must have a one year gap in employment at this facility prior to consideration
Requirements
- Active and current CA RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 3 years of ICU RN experience
- Proficiency and comfort in managing neuro patient cases
- Candidate must not have worked at this facility within the past 12 months
- Must reside outside a 50 mile radius from the facility
