Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology RN with a current CA license and at least 3 years of IR experience.

Responsibilities

Work in an Interventional Radiology department within a hospital setting
Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts (8:00 – 18:30), variable days
Patient population includes IR and Neuro IR cases requiring moderate sedation
Requires ability to float to other affiliated facilities
Provide nursing care for complex IR and Neuro IR procedures including moderate sedation
May be required to support other departments during float assignments
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a high-acuity environment

Requirements

Active CA RN license required
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 3 years of Interventional Radiology RN experience required
Demonstrated competency in moderate sedation for IR and Neuro IR procedures
Preferred: Experience in ICU, ED, PACU, or other procedural areas
Preferred: Radiology Imaging Nursing Certification and PALS
