Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology RN with a current CA license and at least 3 years of IR experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in an Interventional Radiology department within a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts (8:00 – 18:30), variable days
- Patient population includes IR and Neuro IR cases requiring moderate sedation
- Requires ability to float to other affiliated facilities
- Provide nursing care for complex IR and Neuro IR procedures including moderate sedation
- May be required to support other departments during float assignments
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a high-acuity environment
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 3 years of Interventional Radiology RN experience required
- Demonstrated competency in moderate sedation for IR and Neuro IR procedures
- Preferred: Experience in ICU, ED, PACU, or other procedural areas
- Preferred: Radiology Imaging Nursing Certification and PALS
