Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU position requiring a CA RN license and pediatric critical care experience.
Responsibilities
- Position located in the Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) in a hospital setting
- Patient population includes pediatric cardiovascular ICU patients
- Variable 12-hour shifts, including days and nights
- Typical schedule is 3x12 hour shifts per week (7:00–19:00 or 19:00–7:00)
- Ability to float to other associated facilities required
- Care for critically ill pediatric patients with cardiovascular conditions
- Must be able to adapt to both day and night shifts as needed
- Flexibility to float between facilities and units as necessary
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current AHA BLS and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 3-5 years of pediatric CVICU experience, or at least 5 years of pediatric ICU experience will be considered
- ACLS certification preferred
- Previous PICU or NICU experience preferred
