Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position with night shifts and a minimum of 2 years' recent experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Medical Surgical combination unit within a hospital setting
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week travel contract assignment
• Provide direct nursing care to Med/Surg patients on a variety of medical and surgical cases
• First-time travelers are accepted
• No references required at the time of consideration
• Orientation and skills checklist required prior to starting

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• At least 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience
• Certifications obtained via RQI are not accepted
• Must not have worked as permanent staff at a LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Permanent address must be at least 60 miles from the assignment facility
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• COVID vaccination card required
