Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week night shift Emergency Department role requiring at least one year of recent ED experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Position is located in an Emergency Department setting within a hospital
• Work schedule is 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
• 13-week assignment
• Patient population consists of emergency and trauma cases
• No local candidates accepted due to a 50-mile radius rule
• Provide comprehensive care to patients in emergency situations
• May be required to handle trauma, acute, and critical cases
• Must comply with facility's policies, certification, and documentation requirements
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment
• Applicants must live more than 50 miles from the facility

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum of one year of recent Emergency Department experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications accepted from AHA or ARC
• CPI or equivalent crisis prevention certification required for ER
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required for ER nurses
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for consideration
• At least one professional reference required
