Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with Epic experience and required certifications to perform ECHOs and TEEs on a weekday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Setting is a radiology/cardiology department
• The role involves performing ECHOs and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs)
• Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• There are no weekend or on-call requirements
• Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months is required
• Must be able to perform both ECHO and TEE examinations
• Two professional references are required for consideration
• Men must be clean-shaven to pass Fit Test requirements
• Local candidates and first-time travelers are accepted at the same rate
• Return staff may be eligible for consideration

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience as an Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer
• CCI (RCS) or ARDMS (RDCS) certification required
• Current BLS certification is required
• Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months and ability to pass a competency exam
• Valid Compact or TN state license required if applicable
