Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and 1 year in ultrasound for a contract in a hospital-based maternal fetal medicine clinic.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-affiliated maternal fetal medicine and general ultrasound clinic
• Day shift with options for 4x10 or 5x8 hour schedules, typically 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Rotating shifts, weekend, holiday, and inclement weather coverage required
• On-call duties may be assigned per department needs
• Work environment is active, requiring frequent ambulation, reaching, and lifting objects weighing 20 lbs or more
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Role involves consistent patient interaction, including those with contagious illnesses
• RTO (requested time off) must be submitted at the time of consideration
• Locals within 75 miles are accepted at a reduced rate
• References are required for consideration
• Scrub or dress code details will be provided during orientation

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years ultrasound technologist experience, including at least 1 year in the specialty
• Active ultrasound technologist license required if applicable
• Travel experience required
• Ability to work throughout the duration of assigned shifts and contract term
• Must be able to work at least 50% of holidays during assignment
• MO or Compact State license must be active and in hand at the time of consideration
