Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience and a current OH or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Night shifts with options for 3x12s, 4x12s, or 2x12s, typically 7pm-7am
• Adult patient population requiring telemetry monitoring
• Use of telemetry equipment and rhythm interpretation required
• ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments must be completed during orientation
• Assignments at any Cleveland Clinic location may not exceed 18 consecutive months
• A minimum 6-month break is required before returning to the facility through American Traveler after contract conclusion
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Team environment supports Med/Surg Tele patient care
• Holiday and weekend coverage expectations apply as per unit standards
• Scrub or dress code requirements align with hospital policy

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to starting
• Recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in Med/Surg Tele specialty required
• Must score acceptably on ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate tests upon orientation
