Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night ICU position in California requiring a current CA RN license and advanced certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• Every other weekend required and based on unit needs
• On-call responsibilities as needed
• May float to other units within scope of practice or to Ashby or Herrick campuses depending on census needs
• Shuttle service provided for inter-campus floating
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing ACA
• Only one holiday time off request will be approved
• A supportive shuttle service is available for required floating between campuses
• Flexibility with floating and short notice shift adjustments is expected

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum of 3 years ICU RN experience required
• At least 6 months of previous travel nursing experience required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
• Returning travelers must have a minimum 1-year break before returning
