Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with ARRT registration and a current Ohio radiologic license for a hospital-based role in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care hospital X-ray department
• Perform a variety of diagnostic radiology procedures for diverse patient populations
• Varied shift schedule including 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend and every other holiday coverage required
• Responsible for preparing patients, ensuring safety protocols, and performing accurate radiology exams
• Must demonstrate a professional and pleasant demeanor with excellent organizational skills
• Staff wear facility-approved scrubs
• Candidates must live more than 100 miles from the central facility to be eligible

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• ODH Ohio Radiologic License required
• BLS certification required
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Thorough knowledge of medical imaging procedures, positioning, and equipment
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Superior customer service and ability to work as part of a team
• License required if applicable
