Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for day shifts in an outpatient clinic setting in Bishop, CA, requiring an active CA license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Primary work setting is an outpatient clinic in Bishop, CA
• Day shift schedule with possible weekday and Saturday shifts
• Patient care is 1:1 with each appointment lasting 45 minutes
• Occasional inpatient coverage on holidays and Sundays shared among PTs
• Covers a mix of outpatient and inpatient services
• Responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and revising care as needed based on patient progress
• Will perform appropriate evaluation tests, measurements, and therapy techniques according to patient diagnosis
• Timely documentation of patient progress for physician follow up and insurance compliance
• Participates in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with strong focus on patient outcomes
• Furnished dorm-style housing options available upon request, subject to availability and cost
• Coverage may include one holiday and 6-8 Sundays per year
• No COVID-19 vaccination requirement for this position

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Active California Physical Therapist license required (license required if applicable)
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
• Minimum of one year of physical therapy experience preferred
• Ability to work effectively with patients, peers, physicians, and ancillary departments
