Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a current CA license and Cerner charting experience for a night shift contract assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in a hospital setting
  • Night shifts, 3x12 hours per week, 19:00 to 07:30, including weekends
  • Contract length is 13 weeks
  • Cerner EMR system is used and experience is required
  • No blocked or self-scheduling allowed
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
  • No requested time off (RTO) allowed within the first 2 weeks of assignment
  • Candidates who have previously worked at the facility must be gone for at least 1 year to return as a traveler
  • First-time travelers may be considered
  • Holiday and weekend coverage required as scheduled

Requirements

  • Active and valid CA RN license required at time of consideration
  • Minimum of 2 years ICU experience required within the last 2 years
  • At least 1 year of acute care setting experience required
  • Cerner charting experience required
  • Must pass an EKG exam within 3 attempts
  • References: at least one supervisory reference from the last year in ICU and another professional reference within 2 years
