Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for an Emergency Department position with Level I Trauma and urban ED experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Room rotating between three offsite clinics in the area
• Patient ratio is 1:4
• Level I Trauma center and urban emergency setting
• Requires working every other weekend
• Floating between area clinics required
• Day shift, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:30
• Uses Epic for charting
• Open to first-time travelers
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Locals are accepted
• Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent Emergency Department experience
• Previous experience in an urban, Level I Trauma ED required
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
• TNCC and CPI certifications preferred
• Experience using Epic charting preferred
• Pending licenses not accepted
