Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position in Illinois with a 1:6 ratio and every other weekend coverage.

Responsibilities

• Hospital medical-surgical unit setting
• Patient ratio is 1:6
• Night shifts with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week from 18:45 to 7:15
• Required to work every other weekend
• Floating to other units is required
• Uses Epic for charting
• Responsibilities include direct care and monitoring of Med/Surg patients
• Block scheduling is not accommodated
• No more than 7 days of requested time off may be approved per contract
• Local candidates are accepted

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required at time of application
• Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg RN experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Not open to pending licensure
• First-time travelers accepted
