Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in a Level I Trauma setting with rotation between multiple offsite clinics and night shift requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of an urban Level I Trauma hospital
• Rotates between three offsite clinics in the area
• Required to work night shifts (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30)
• Every other weekend shift is required
• Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4
• Floating to other units or clinics is required
• Uses Epic for charting
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Locals are accepted for this assignment
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off will be considered

Requirements

• Active IL RN license is required at the time of consideration
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an urban, Level I Trauma Emergency Department
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
• TNCC and CPI certifications preferred
• Experience in a teaching hospital is preferred
