Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN with an IL license and Level I Trauma ED background for rotating clinic assignments.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Emergency Room setting with rotations between three offsite clinics
• Patient ratio is 1:4 in the ER
• Level I Trauma ED environment with exposure to diverse urban patient populations
• Use Epic EMR for charting
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:30
• Required to work every other weekend
• Floating to other clinics or departments is required
• First time travelers will be considered
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off allowed
• Local candidates are accepted
• No block scheduling accommodations
• Holiday coverage may be required

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Level I Trauma Emergency Department
• Prior experience in an urban trauma setting required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
• TNCC and CPI certifications preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Pending licenses not accepted
