Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position caring for both adults and pediatric patients, requiring at least 2 years of med/surg and pediatric experience.

Responsibilities

• Work on a Medical-Surgical unit with 8 pediatric beds
• Care for both adult and pediatric med/surg patients
• Adult patient ratio is 1:5, pediatric ratio is 1:4
• Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week, 19:00-07:00
• Weekend shifts required every other weekend
• No on-call requirements
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must be experienced and comfortable with both adult and pediatric med/surg populations
• One request for time off (RTO) allowed
• Local candidates within 50 miles considered at a reduced rate
• Two professional references required for consideration

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license or proof of pending license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in adult and pediatric med/surg care
• Epic EMR experience required
• First-time travelers are not accepted
