Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist with 5+ years of diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab experience and RCIS certification.

Responsibilities

Work in a diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization lab
Float between two hospital locations as needed
Schedule is 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Call required, averaging 10 days within 6 weeks, including every third weekend on call
General orientation will begin on Mondays and includes online computer-based learning
Must be available for 16 hours of nonbillable orientation
No local candidates will be considered due to the 100-mile radius rule

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab settings
Active RCIS certification required
AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required; AHA certificates only
Charge experience required
Must live at least 100 miles from the hospital's service area
License required if applicable
