Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PCU Float position supporting Med Surg patients, requiring a TX or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of recent experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the PCU Float pool, primarily supporting the Med Surg department
• Night shift schedule with options for 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• Travelers must be willing to float as needed to meet patient care demands
• Uses Epic EMR system
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted before accepting an offer
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for consideration
• Certifications must be current and submitted with application documentation

Requirements

• Active RN license in Texas or a compact state (must be in hand)
• Minimum of 2 years recent RN experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Epic EMR experience strongly preferred
• Two supervisory references from the last three years required
