Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) night shift position requiring an OH or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) unit
• Caring for patients with chronic and medically complex conditions
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 12-hour shifts with a standard contract length
• RNs will provide care for chronic and medically fragile patients in an LTAC setting
• Floating may be required within a 25-mile radius as part of regular duties
• Staff must clock in and out using the electronic timekeeping system
• A 50-mile radius rule applies for eligibility under traveler compensation
• Local candidates are accepted at a reduced pay rate
• Position requires resignation from permanent roles in the associated health system prior to assignment

Requirements

• Active OH or compact state RN license required at the time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent LTAC or relevant specialty experience required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Certifications cannot expire within the first 30 days of assignment
• Candidates currently working in a permanent position are not eligible
• Full US Social Security Number required for consideration
