Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for an outpatient imaging center, requiring ARRT (MR) and New York licensure.

Responsibilities

Work in a full-service outpatient imaging center
Shift is 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM
Primarily adult patients, with occasional pediatric cases
Procedures include routine MRI and cardiac MRI scans
Equipment includes a GE 1.5T MRI scanner
Uses Epic and Carestream EMR systems
Any color scrubs are acceptable
Local candidates within 60 miles are eligible at a reduced rate
Two professional references from the past year in the specialty required
Required to complete facility-specific online training modules before assignment
Candidates with prior employment at Northwell or Nuvance locations may require additional review for eligibility

Requirements

Current NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License and New York injection license required if applicable
Certification as R.T. (R) (MR) through ARRT
Current BLS certification (AHA only accepted)
Minimum of 2 years MRI technologist experience
Experience with adult and occasional pediatric patients
Familiarity with Epic and Carestream is preferred
