Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a RN for a Level 3/4 NICU night shift position requiring a TX or compact license and recent NICU experience.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a Level 3/4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Responsible for care of critically ill newborns and preterm infants
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Provide specialized nursing care to high-risk neonatal patients
- No local candidates will be considered for this position
- Only U.S. candidates are eligible for consideration
- Holiday and weekend coverage may be required as part of the schedule
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent NICU RN experience required
- Current AHA or ARC BLS certification required
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advanced 9th Edition card required
- No gaps over 90 days in work history within the past 12 months
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
- U.S. Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- Professional references required as per state guidelines
