Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring at least two years of recent med/surg and short stay experience and a TX or compact license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Medical Surgical unit of a modern hospital setting
• Day shifts, 3x12 hours from 6:30 to 19:00
• Patient ratios are 1:5 during the day and 1:6 at night
• Floating required to 2W, CDU, and ARU units
• Telemetry experience preferred
• Work alongside a welcoming and supportive team in a recently constructed facility
• Teamwork, compassion, and a caring attitude are highly valued
• First time travelers considered based on experience

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• At least 2 years of med/surg and short stay nursing experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not accepted
