Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Critical Care Float Pool position in Hawaii requiring active HI RN licensure and experience in both ICU and ER settings.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Critical Care Float Pool covering ER, ICU, and PACU patients
• Will float to other nursing units to assist as needed, not as a primary nurse
• Duties include expediting on other floors, sitting with patients, and helping with patient transport
• Telemetry monitoring is required
• Member of the rapid response and code blue team as needed
• 12-hour shifts scheduled for evenings and nights
• Work schedule includes 72-80 hours per two weeks
• Must have flexibility to float and assist across various hospital units
• Responsibilities include direct care, patient monitoring, and responding to emergency situations
• No COVID-19 vaccination required for this assignment
• Reference checks are performed via email

Requirements

• Current active HI RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in both ER and ICU settings required
• Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
