Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department weekend-only assignment requiring a NJ or compact RN license and recent Level 1 trauma experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
• Weekend-only schedule: Friday to Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Care for a range of patients in a large Level 1 Trauma environment
• Must be able to work all assigned weekend shifts
• Will manage patients in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
• Holiday coverage may be required based on hospital needs

Requirements

• Active NJ or compact state RN license required; pending licenses not accepted
• Minimum of 3 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Experience working in a large Level 1 Trauma hospital required
• COVID vaccination with one booster and flu vaccination required (religious exemptions accepted)
