Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring recent Level 2 Trauma and travel experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Emergency Trauma Center at a hospital
• Department specializes in emergency and trauma care for diverse patient populations
• Level 2 Trauma Center setting
• D/N rotation with 12-hour shifts
• Contract length is 13 weeks
• No on-call responsibilities
• Cerner EMR system used
• Responsibilities include delivering emergency care to trauma patients in a fast-paced environment
• Must be comfortable rotating between day and night shifts
• Team-oriented environment with multidisciplinary support
• Professional attire required per hospital policy

Requirements

• Active ND or Compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Level 2 Trauma Center
• Recent travel nursing experience required
• Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
