Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist with 3+ years of outpatient experience, ASHA certification, and WA licensure for a day shift assignment.
Responsibilities
- Outpatient clinic setting in the Speech Therapy unit
- Serves patients with CVA, deconditioning, esophageal dysphagia, and head and neck cancer diagnoses
- Monday through Friday schedule, 8am to 5pm, 8-hour day shifts
- Float required to Yakima location every Friday
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- EMR used is Epic; experience is preferred
- Treats diverse adult populations including patients with neurological and oncologic conditions
- No weekend or on-call responsibilities
- First-time travelers will be considered for this role
- Neutral color scrubs are required
- Will need two professional references prior to starting
- Floating to a secondary clinic is required weekly
Requirements
- Current Washington state license required if applicable
- Active ASHA certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 3 years of SLP experience in an outpatient setting
- Proficiency in conducting modified barium swallow studies and associated treatments
- References from a supervisor or higher are required for consideration
- Epic EMR experience preferred
