Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Outpatient Services position in a physician practice setting with day shifts and cardiology experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in an outpatient physician practice focusing on cardiovascular services
• Patient population primarily includes cardiology cases
• Main duties include triage phone work with occasional assistance in running ETTs, Lexiscans, and bubble studies
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
• 13-week contract assignment with 8-hour day shifts
• No on-call requirements
• Primary responsibility involves triage and clinical support in a cardiology outpatient setting
• May be involved in cardiac procedures including ETTs, Lexiscans, and bubble studies
• Holiday coverage may be required based on unit needs
• Team-oriented environment supporting outpatient cardiovascular care
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted up front and cannot be requested after an offer is made

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiovascular or relevant specialty required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Returning perm staff must have a break of at least 2 years before applying as travelers
