Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Coronary Care Unit (CCU) position requiring an active TN or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) providing specialized care to cardiac patients
- Located in an acute care hospital setting
- Night shift schedule from 7:00PM to 7:00AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Patient population includes individuals with complex cardiac conditions
- Responsibilities include monitoring and managing patients with acute and complex cardiac issues
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary team to deliver critical care interventions
- Adherence to night shift rotation and coverage requirements
- All certifications must remain valid for the duration of the assignment
Requirements
- Active TN or compact RN license required
- Minimum one year of recent experience in CCU or critical care nursing
- Current AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Certification required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the last 12 months
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility—no local candidates accepted
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
- Professional reference required (two for FL and MO candidates, one for all other states)
