Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Coronary Care Unit (CCU) position requiring an active TN or compact RN license and at least one year of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) providing specialized care to cardiac patients
• Located in an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00PM to 7:00AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Patient population includes individuals with complex cardiac conditions
• Responsibilities include monitoring and managing patients with acute and complex cardiac issues
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary team to deliver critical care interventions
• Adherence to night shift rotation and coverage requirements
• All certifications must remain valid for the duration of the assignment

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Minimum one year of recent experience in CCU or critical care nursing
• Current AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the last 12 months
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility—no local candidates accepted
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Professional reference required (two for FL and MO candidates, one for all other states)
