Job Description
American Traveler seeks a Speech Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP and Epic EMR experience for an inpatient rehabilitation setting with frequent floating.
Responsibilities
- Work in an inpatient rehabilitation facility with 91 staffed beds
- Serve adult patient population with a patient ratio of 8:1
- Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm
- Floating required between all facilities within the state
- Weekend shifts required every sixth weekend
- Uses Epic for charting and documentation
- Opportunity to work in a teaching hospital environment
- All travelers are expected to float as needed or may risk termination of assignment
- Dress code allows any color scrubs for all units
- No cost for onsite parking
- Minimal to no RTO is preferred; all time off requests must be made at the time of submission
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live more than 50 miles from the facility
- COVID and flu vaccinations may be required for assignment consideration
Requirements
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- At least 2 years of SLP experience in a comparable setting
- Experience using Epic EMR required
- Ability to float between multiple facilities as needed
- License required if applicable
- Minimum of two supervisory references covering one year of recent relevant employment
