Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for an outpatient breast imaging clinic, requiring at least 1 year of experience and active WA license.

Responsibilities

• Work in an outpatient breast imaging clinic within a medical office building
• Primarily adult and geriatric patient population
• Duties include screening and diagnostic mammography procedures
• Procedures performed include 3D mammography, digital mammograms, diagnostic and screening mammograms
• Experience with Hologic equipment is preferred
• EPIC EMR skills required
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday with a weekday off varying based on unit needs; no weekends or holidays
• Candidates may be required to float between facilities within the state
• Primary duties include conducting 3D, digital, screening, and diagnostic mammograms
• Orientation provided and scheduled for 8 hours
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Returning staff from non-Swedish Providence facilities must have a 3-month separation before applying as a traveler
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for travel contracts
• Minimal time off preferred and must be discussed in advance
• All travelers must be willing to float between facilities within the state
• Scrubs of any color are permitted

Requirements

• Active WA license required
• Current ARRT, ARRT (M), and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent mammography experience
• Experience working in an outpatient setting
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
• 2 supervisory references from the past 3 years covering 1 year of employment within a comparable specialty are required for consideration
• License required if applicable
