Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for an outpatient breast imaging clinic, requiring at least 1 year of experience and active WA license.
Responsibilities
- Work in an outpatient breast imaging clinic within a medical office building
- Primarily adult and geriatric patient population
- Duties include screening and diagnostic mammography procedures
- Procedures performed include 3D mammography, digital mammograms, diagnostic and screening mammograms
- Experience with Hologic equipment is preferred
- EPIC EMR skills required
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday with a weekday off varying based on unit needs; no weekends or holidays
- Candidates may be required to float between facilities within the state
- Primary duties include conducting 3D, digital, screening, and diagnostic mammograms
- Orientation provided and scheduled for 8 hours
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Returning staff from non-Swedish Providence facilities must have a 3-month separation before applying as a traveler
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for travel contracts
- Minimal time off preferred and must be discussed in advance
- All travelers must be willing to float between facilities within the state
- Scrubs of any color are permitted
Requirements
- Active WA license required
- Current ARRT, ARRT (M), and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of recent mammography experience
- Experience working in an outpatient setting
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
- 2 supervisory references from the past 3 years covering 1 year of employment within a comparable specialty are required for consideration
- License required if applicable
