Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of recent experience in cardiac, stroke/cerebral angiograms, and interventional radiology procedures.
Responsibilities
- Work in a short-term acute care setting in the Cath Lab
- 1:1 patient ratio with adult patient population
- Procedures include cardiac catheterizations, stroke/cerebral angiograms, and IR cases
- Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
- On-call required one weeknight per week and approximately every fifth weekend
- No weekend work required outside of on-call obligations
- Epic EMR used; prior experience required
- No floating between units during the assignment
- Must be willing to float between facilities within the state if required
- Former perm staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Scrub color is any color; scrubs provided in some departments
- All requested time off must be discussed at the time of application; RTO after submission or offer may be denied
- Failure to adhere to scheduling commitments may result in contract termination
Requirements
- Current CVT certification or relevant Cath Lab Technologist credentials
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Cath Lab with exposure to stroke/cerebral angiograms, cardiac, and IR
- Travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
- References: 2 supervisory references covering at least 1 year of relevant employment within the last 3 years
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Required certifications must be current and provided for consideration
- License required if applicable
