Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with current BLS and ACLS certifications and at least one year of ICU experience for a travel position in Kansas.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital
• 12-hour shifts with a schedule that includes every other weekend
• Assignment duration is 13 weeks
• May be required to float to the Medical Surgical Unit (MSU) or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed
• Returning employees or travelers must not have worked at the facility within the past year
• Holiday coverage is required as scheduled

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Minimum of one year ICU RN experience required
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Must have a permanent address at least 75 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
