Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery night shift position requiring an active NM or compact RN license, with advanced certifications and weekend shift requirements.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit
• Night shifts consist of three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30
• Shift schedule options include 36 or 48 hours per week
• Expected to work 4-6 weekend shifts per 6-week period
• Scrubs are provided to all staff
• Uses Epic charting system; previous experience preferred
• First time travelers are welcome to apply
• No travel pairs or groups are accepted
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles away; locals within 50 miles are not accepted
• Former permanent staff must wait one year before returning as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of requested time off (RTO) will be automatically approved, and no RTO is allowed during the first week of orientation

Requirements

• Active NM or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 1-2 years Labor & Delivery RN experience required; 2 years preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Epic EMR experience preferred
