Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry Float position requiring a MA license and a minimum of two years of tele experience.

Responsibilities

• Work as a float pool RN in a hospital telemetry setting
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7p-7a)
• Required to work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotation
• Floating to various units is required
• Occasional flexibility required to adjust shift start time by up to 4 hours based on unit needs
• Care for cardiac and telemetry patients while floating to multiple units as needed
• Expected to adapt quickly to varying unit protocols and patient needs
• Participation in orientation and completion of required modules may be necessary
• First time travelers will be considered

Requirements

• Active MA RN license in hand
• At least 2 years of telemetry nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Pass/fail EKG test required for consideration
• Cannot have prior disciplinary action on nursing license
• Must provide two professional references, with at least one from a Nurse Manager or higher
• Must reside at least 200 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
