Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with a MA license for a Telemetry Float Pool position with flexible shift requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Telemetry Float Pool setting
• Floating throughout telemetry units required based on facility needs
• Patient population consists of telemetry monitoring cases
• Shifts are 12 hours from 3 p.m. to 3 a.m., totaling 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Must be willing to flex shift start time by 4 hours before or after the scheduled time
• Provide comprehensive nursing care for telemetry patients across multiple units
• Must float as needed per facility requirements
• Holiday and weekend coverage is expected
• Flexibility in shift start times is necessary

Requirements

• Active RN license in Massachusetts (MA) required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must successfully pass a Pass/Fail EKG test
• Cannot have prior infractions on nursing license
• References required, including one from a Nurse Manager or higher
• Must reside at least 200 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel status
