Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry Float Pool position in Massachusetts requiring a MA RN license and two years of prior tele experience.

Responsibilities

• Float pool position covering telemetry units in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with three 12-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Must be willing to float to different units as needed
• Shift start time may be flexed by up to 4 hours before or after scheduled time based on unit needs
• Floating to different telemetry units is required as part of the float pool team
• Holiday coverage and every other weekend are part of the regular schedule
• Schedule flexibility is needed for shift start times
• Team-oriented environment with support from multiple units
• Dress code and scrubs requirements will be communicated prior to assignment start

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required and must be in hand
• Minimum of 2 years recent telemetry nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must pass a pass/fail EKG test
• No prior disciplinary history on nursing license will be considered
• Must live more than 200 miles from the facility for travel eligibility
• Two professional references required, one must be from a Nurse Manager or higher
