Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with ARRT(M) and BLS certifications and at least one year of recent mammography and EPIC experience.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient setting specializing in mammography procedures
• Performs 3D mammography, diagnostic and digital mammograms, and screening mammograms
• Utilizes GE equipment
• Uses EPIC EMR, with a minimum of one year EPIC experience required
• Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Floating to other qualified units may be required based on census needs
• Duties include performing high-quality mammographic imaging and related procedures
• Black scrubs required
• Unit does not accept first-time travelers
• Candidates must provide proof of recent mammography volume and continuing education
• Must be able to float within clinical scope as needed by the facility

Requirements

• Current ARRT(M) certification and BLS required
• At least one year of recent mammography experience
• Minimum one year of EPIC EMR experience
• Completion of 40-hour initial mammography training
• 8 hours of digital mammography training and 8 hours of tomosynthesis training
• 15 mammography CEUs within the last three years
• 200 mammograms completed in the past two years
• Current CPR certification
• Not open to first-time travelers
• Travelers must reside more than 100 miles from any applicable facility to be eligible at the full rate; 50–99.9 miles accepted at a reduced rate; under 50 miles not eligible
• Two references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license required
• License required if applicable
