Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week contract requiring ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications with alternating day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital ICU setting
• Patient ratio is 1:2
• Alternating 12-hour shifts on days (07:00-19:30) and nights (19:00-07:30)
• Float required to Step Down and CCU units
• 13-week contract with possible extension
• No scrubs provided
• Unit will attempt to accommodate schedule requests, but cannot guarantee blocked scheduling
• Strict attendance policy; only 2-3 call offs permitted per contract
• References from two recent managers or charge RNs required for consideration
• First-time travelers accepted

Requirements

• Active WV or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent ICU RN experience required
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS required
• No prior travel experience required
