Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift critical care assignment, requiring a TX or compact license and multiple advanced certifications.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the ICU department of a hospital
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week from 18:30 to 07:00
• May be required to float to Med/Surg, Telemetry, or ER for critical care holds
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not accepted
• Candidates may be expected to care for critical care patients as well as float to other units as needed
• Skills checklist and proof of certifications must be provided for consideration

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, TNCC or TCAR, NIH are required
• 6 hours of stroke education and EKG course completion required (can be provided if needed)
• Must provide two supervisor references from the last three years
