Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a NC or compact RN license and recent MS/Tele, ED, or clinical evaluation unit experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Med/Surg Tele unit of a hospital setting
• Patient ratio is 1:4
• Day shifts (3x12 hours) from 7:00 to 19:00
• Required to work every other weekend
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Bi-weekly orientation sessions available
• Responsibilities include delivering nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients and documenting in Epic
• Royal blue scrubs required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Locals are accepted within a 75-mile radius at a different pay rate

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum of 2 years recent MS/Tele experience, or ED/clinical evaluation unit background accepted
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Preferred CPI certification, can be obtained onsite if not already held
• One supervisory reference from within the last year is required for consideration
• Flu vaccination is required with no exemptions accepted
