Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring a NC or Compact license and EPIC charting experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Patient ratio is 1:4
• Utilizes EPIC EMR system
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00pm to 7:00am
• Required to work every other weekend
• Bi-weekly orientation is provided
• Scrubs must be royal blue
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted at a lower bill rate within a 75-mile radius
• Flu vaccination is mandatory from October 31st to March 31st
• Team members are expected to adhere to a royal blue scrub dress code
• Orientation sessions are held on a bi-weekly basis

Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele or relative ED/clinical evaluation unit nursing experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• EPIC charting experience required
• CPI certification preferred (can be completed onsite if not already obtained)
• One supervisory reference from within the last year required
• Compliance with flu vaccination is required with no exemptions accepted
