Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 3 years of inpatient rehabilitation experience willing to float within similar units.

Responsibilities

• Position based in an acute care hospital within the inpatient rehab unit
• Day shifts, scheduled as Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Expectation to float between acute rehab and like units following proper orientation
• Epic EMR experience is required
• All travelers may be required to float between facilities within the state
• Proper orientation provided before floating to acute rehab or similar units
• Minimal to no requested time off (RTO) will be accommodated; all RTO must be included at time of consideration
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot be within 50 miles of the facility
• Free parking is available on site
• Scrub color for therapy staff is not specified
• Local candidates are accepted

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of recent inpatient rehabilitation physical therapy experience required
• References from at least 2 supervisors covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years are required
• Must provide Social Security card and Driver's License for consideration
• COVID and Flu vaccination documentation required
• Epic charting experience required
• Physical Therapy license required if applicable
• Pending licenses are not accepted
