Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a RN for a permanent night Medical/Surgical position requiring an active MA RN license and AHA BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Work on the Medical Unit White 8 in a hospital setting
Night shift from 19:00 to 07:00
Thirteen-week contract assignment
Uses EPIC charting system
Patient care for Medical/Surgical population
Responsible for individualized nursing care, administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and coordinating plans of care
Must be able to maintain confidentiality and provide accurate, detailed reports
Flu vaccine required without exemptions during flu season
Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the hospital
Parking is not validated; public transport and public parking are available at daily rates
Professional dress code required

Requirements

Active MA RN license required; no pending or conditional licenses accepted
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Knowledge of medical terminology and principles of nursing care
No specific years of experience required
