Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with long term care experience and a Hawaii RN license for a varied shift position in a hospital-based skilled nursing environment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a long term care facility located on the site of a hospital
• Roles include both long term care and some hospital-based responsibilities
• Varied shift scheduling with 8-hour shifts available on days, evenings, and nights
• Shifts may include weekends, holidays, and possible overtime rotation
• No guarantee of hours or specific shift preference
• Duties include patient assessments, treatments, medication administration, and notifications to MD/NP of pertinent information
• Responsibilities involve admitting and discharging patients, ADL assistance, gastrostomy tube care, urinary catheter care, nebulizer treatments, wound vac care, and CPAP care
• Employee health and HR clearance must be completed the Friday prior to assignment start
• All compliance documents must be completed and uploaded at least one week before the start date

Requirements

• Active Hawaii RN license required by assignment start date
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Must have license in hand for employee health/HR clearance appointment prior to start
