Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department position requiring a CA RN license and current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department in a hospital setting
• Care provided to a wide range of patients across ages and socioeconomic backgrounds
• Shifts available: 3x12 evenings (1500–0300) or 3x12 nights (1900–0700)
• Every other weekend is required
• A 50-mile radius rule applies
• Responsible for delivering emergency nursing care as part of a collaborative team
• Only one holiday time-off request will be approved
• Must be available for lab work within 3–5 days of contract signing
• Diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Active California RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of ED RN experience required unless otherwise noted
• At least 1 year of ED travel experience preferred
• Must provide two supervisory references from the past two years
• Return staff must have been gone at least 1 year to be considered
