Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department position requiring a CA RN license and current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Emergency Department in a hospital setting
- Care provided to a wide range of patients across ages and socioeconomic backgrounds
- Shifts available: 3x12 evenings (1500–0300) or 3x12 nights (1900–0700)
- Every other weekend is required
- A 50-mile radius rule applies
- Responsible for delivering emergency nursing care as part of a collaborative team
- Only one holiday time-off request will be approved
- Must be available for lab work within 3–5 days of contract signing
- Diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Active California RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of ED RN experience required unless otherwise noted
- At least 1 year of ED travel experience preferred
- Must provide two supervisory references from the past two years
- Return staff must have been gone at least 1 year to be considered
