Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with ARRT or ARMRIT certification and 2 years of acute care hospital experience.

Responsibilities

Work in an acute care hospital radiology department as an MRI Technologist
Perform MRI scans and may assist with general radiology, angio/cath lab, and CT procedures
Typical schedule is 4x10 hour shifts with shifts on Saturday and Sunday and one variable shift during the week
Shifts are either 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM or 4:30 PM to 2:00 AM
Rotating on-call and variable weekend responsibilities
Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing acceptance
Only one holiday request off will be approved
Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
Previous staff or travelers must be gone for at least one year before returning as a traveler

Requirements

Active CA state license required if applicable
Current ARRT (Radiography), ARMRIT, or CRT certification
BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
Minimum of 2 years experience as a radiologic technologist with MRI experience in an acute care hospital
