Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced MRI Technologist with ARMRIT or ARRT(MR) certification and at least 2 years of clinical MRI experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in hospital-based MRI departments covering multiple locations
- Evening and night shifts available, Monday through Friday, with shift hours between 1:30 PM and 12:00 AM
- Assignment may require floating between different units or facilities within the organization
- Provide imaging for all patient age groups
- Utilize a wide variety of advanced imaging equipment and systems
- Independently perform complex imaging examinations and specialized MRI procedures
- Participate in quality assurance, maintenance, and troubleshooting of imaging and archiving systems
- Work collaboratively to prioritize, organize, and triage both routine and emergent imaging procedures
- May participate in training, education, and clinical research initiatives with other healthcare professionals
- Travelers are the first to float and may have shifts reassigned based on departmental need
- Free onsite parking available
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical MRI technologist experience required
- Current ARMRIT certification or ARRT(MR) certification required
- CPR certification required within 3 months of employment
- Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology required
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
- Must live at least 50 miles from the primary work site
- License required if applicable
